![One week ago, this sky held more than light.
By the time they got there, golden hour had mostly slipped away. I was already on the beach, just watching the light change.
But honestly, none of that mattered. We worked with what we had…the fading light, the breeze, the way the sky held itself.
I asked one of the fishermen if I could use his boat because I had this picture in my head that I couldn’t shake off, that turquoise blue boat sitting on the horizon ahhh wouldn’t that be perfect! He was kind enough to say yes.
Pearl, Alex, Kairo you didn’t need perfect light.
Lil Kalista was already part of it, not even in the frame yet, but shining through everything. She was the light!
